A little bit about me
I grew up loving the art of sewing. My Mother and Grandmother were self-taught seamstresses, and I found my soul was always at peace watching them create and turn a yard of fabric into something that was handmade and beautiful.
In 2016 I received a life-saving liver transplant at UI Health in Chicago. My Organ Donor, Tom, was a 25-year-old young man who lost his life in a tragic accident. Tom had left several lifesaving gifts including one for me. I honor Tom daily and am forever changed by the Grace of God and Tom’s gift plus the generosity of his family.
I hope you enjoy your handmade item made by me and I hope you make every minute count in this crazy thing called life…
Keep your face to the sun and you will never see the shadows. ~Helen Keller

I am thankful for the opportunity to have a lovely place to display and sell my bags.
